Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Label Manager to join our team. The Label Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with our label partners across all regions of India. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Indian music industry, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for supporting independent artists and labels.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for label partners in India, building and maintaining strong relationships to drive mutual success.
- Collaborate with label partners to develop and execute distribution strategies tailored to their specific needs and goals.
- Provide guidance and support to label partners on content delivery, metadata optimization, and promotional opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to track the success of label partners and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent ST Digital at industry events and conferences to network with potential label partners and industry stakeholders.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in music distribution, label management, or related roles.
- Deep knowledge of the Indian music industry, including key players, trends, and emerging markets.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and collaborate with label partners.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining successful relationships with music industry stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for music and a commitment to supporting independent artists and labels.
