Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil for a specialist in XML and ePub production. The role involves converting and structuring content into XML and ePub formats, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client and industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include formatting and tagging content, validating files using relevant tools, troubleshooting technical and layout issues, and coordinating with team members to meet project timelines.

The professional in this role will also help improve workflows,



maintain documentation, and support quality assurance to deliver reliable digital publishing outputs.

Qualifications

- Strong experience working with XML-based workflows, including XML authoring, tagging, and validation for digital publishing.
- Hands-on expertise in ePub creation, formatting, and troubleshooting across devices and platforms.
- Familiarity with related technologies such as HTML, CSS, and basic scripting for content transformation and layout control.
- Proficiency in publishing and conversion tools (e.g., XML editors, ePub validators, and file conversion utilities).
- Attention to detail with strong quality assurance skills for detecting and resolving formatting, structural, and content issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and client style guides, and apply them consistently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a structured production workplace.
- Relevant educational background in computer science, information technology, digital publishing, or a related field; prior experience in XML/ePub production is highly desirable.
