About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Web Developer to join our dynamic team at Sloka IT Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend components of our energy automation products. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in software development, particularly in full-stack web technologies, and will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions.

This position offers a hybrid work environment based in Bangalore, with an initial contract duration of at least one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and hands-on experience in software development are highly valued. Candidates should have a proven track record of at least four years in designing and developing robust backend applications, with a focus on object-oriented programming and modern web frameworks.

Responsibilities

As a Backend Web Developer,



your primary responsibilities will include analyzing software requirements and functional specifications to align with business needs. You will be involved in designing, developing, unit testing, and integrating software components for our energy automation products. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code is essential, along with conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables conform to organizational and project-specific quality requirements.

Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining continuous integration processes by integrating solution artifacts into software configuration management systems within established delivery timelines. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure seamless communication and project execution will be part of your daily activities. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and incorporating current technologies into the development process will be encouraged to maintain our competitive edge.

Knowledge and Experience The successful candidate should have 4-5 years of experience in software design and development, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles. Expertise in full-stack web development using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core,



ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server or Oracle databases is essential. Good analytical and problem-solving skills are required to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. A quick learner who is adaptable to new technologies and trends will thrive in our innovative environment. The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities is critical for success in this role.
