Are you someone who is constantly asking “What if?”, “Why not?”, or “What are we missing?”

HESA is looking for a highly curious, entrepreneurial, and intellectually sharp professional to join the Founder’s Office and work directly with our Founder & CEO.

This is not a conventional strategy, Chief of Staff, or operational role.

We are looking for someone who can explore ideas, challenge assumptions, identify emerging opportunities, connect trends across industries, and help transform promising thoughts into commercially viable business opportunities.

? What You'll Do

• Work directly with the Founder & CEO on current ideas, concepts, and strategic opportunities

• Participate in open-ended brainstorming and challenge assumptions

• Identify emerging business opportunities in India and globally

• Track new technologies, start-ups, business models, consumer trends, and market developments

• Explore successful business models from across the world and assess their relevance to India

• Convert raw ideas into structured business opportunities

• Conduct market research, market sizing, competitive analysis, and rapid validation

• Develop initial business models, revenue models, and unit economics

• Identify potential partners, technologies, investors, and execution models

• Speak with industry experts, customers, founders, and ecosystem participants to validate opportunities

• Help convert selected ideas into pilot-ready concepts

• Support venture incubation, partnerships, and investment discussions

? Build the Prospect Pipeline

Idea → Explore → Validate → Incubate → Pilot → Scale / Partner / Invest / Drop The objective is simple: ensure that promising ideas move towards clear decisions—and weak ideas are identified and dropped early.

✅ 6–12 years of relevant professional experience

✅ Strong entrepreneurial and commercial thinking

✅ Exceptional intellectual curiosity

✅ Ability to think from first principles

✅ Comfortable operating without predefined tasks or structures

✅ Strong understanding of business models, markets, and economics

✅ Excellent research and analytical ability

✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills

✅ Ability to confidently engage with founders, CEOs, investors, and senior stakeholders

✅ Global outlook and curiosity about emerging markets and technologies

✅ Ability to move rapidly between completely different subjects

✅ Comfortable saying: “I don't think this idea works—and here is why.”

? Preferred Backgrounds

Candidates may come from:

• Entrepreneurship / Previous Start-up Experience

• Venture Capital / Private Equity

• Strategy Consulting

• Venture Building

• Founder’s Office

• Corporate Strategy & Innovation

• Product Strategy

• Investment Banking

• Start-up Leadership Roles

? An MBA from a strong institution would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

We value intellectual ability, curiosity, and entrepreneurial instinct over pedigree.
