Role Description The Wall Painter role is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai.

The Wall

Painter will prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming walls, and will apply paints, coatings, and finishes according to project specifications. Daily tasks include mixing paint to the required color and consistency, using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, and ensuring clean, accurate lines and even coverage. The role involves following site safety procedures, coordinating with supervisors and other trades, reading basic instructions or drawings related to painting work, and maintaining tools and materials in good condition.

Painter is expected to work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Painting and Paint application, including surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills in Spray Painting, with the ability to operate and maintain spray equipment safely and effectively.
- Candidates should possess basic understanding of Architectural Drawings to follow painting specifications and layout requirements.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Carpentry-related coordination, such as working around doors, windows, and partitions for accurate finishing.
- Previous experience as a wall painter or similar role in construction or maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of safety standards, use of personal protective equipment, and safe handling of paints and solvents.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions and collaborate with site supervisors and team members.
