Key Responsibilities

- Fleet Maintenance: Carry out preventive, corrective, and emergency breakdown maintenance specifically for Volvo, Scania, and BharatBenz buses.
- Use OEM-approved diagnostic tools (like Scania VCI or Volvo Tech Tool) to conduct ECU diagnostics and troubleshoot electronic or mechanical faults.
- System Repairs apart from this maintain and repair critical systems, including Engine & Transmission, Overhauling and tuning.
- Air brake systems and air suspension calibration.
- HVAC: Ensuring the bus air conditioning systems are optimal for long-distance travel.

Candidate Skills

- ITI or Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Typically, 2–7 years of hands-on experience with heavy diesel vehicles (experience with premium bus brands like Volvo, Scania, Ashok Layland)
- Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts for overnight fleet maintenance).
- Ability to work in a physically demanding workplace, including lifting heavy components and working in cramped spaces (engine bays).
