Job Title: Short-Form Video Editor (Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, fast-paced Short-Form Video Editor to produce scroll-stopping Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and vertical social content. You will turn raw footage, talking-head recordings, and b-roll into dynamic, high-retention 15- to 60-second clips built to drive views and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Edit high-retention vertical videos (9:16) with solid 3-second hooks and pattern interrupts.

Add animated subtitles, kinetic typography, punchy cuts, transitions, b-roll overlays, and sound design (SFX).

Repurpose long-form video or audio into engaging short clips.

Stay current with trending audio, pacing styles,



and viral short-form editing formats.

Deliver clean 1080x1920 exports within agreed deadlines (typically 24–48 hours per deliverable).

Requirements

Proven skill in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Pro (After Effects is a plus).

Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, visual storytelling, and audio-video synchronization.

A portfolio or Google Drive folder showcasing recent vertical video work (mandatory).

Reliable turnaround times and clear communication.
