Nakama Growth is an AI visibility agency. We help SaaS and software brands get cited inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI when buyers search for solutions in their category. We're a small, fast-moving team working with real clients across the globe, and everything we build is tied directly to measurable outcomes in AI search.

What You'll Be Working On:

This is a full-time role, editing real client and internal video content, not a portfolio-building or "learn on the job" position. Specifically:

- Editing YouTube videos end-to-end — long-form and shorts — from raw footage to a publish-ready file
- Working from scripts, shot lists, and reference videos to match a specific pacing and structure, not just "make it look nice"
- Cutting for retention: trimming dead air, structuring hooks, pacing cuts around what keeps someone watching rather than what looks impressive in isolation
- Color correction, audio cleanup/mixing, captions/subtitles, and basic motion graphics or text overlays as needed
- Repurposing long-form content into shorts/reels for YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Organising and managing raw footage, project files, and version control so nothing gets lost between drafts




- Taking feedback fast and turning around revisions without needing everything re-explained

Who We're Looking For

- Someone who already edits well, this role starts with a paid test, not a training period
- Strong sense of pacing and rhythm, understands why a cut works, not just how to make one
- Comfortable with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut (whichever you're fastest in — we care about output, not which tool)
- Can work independently from a reference video and raw footage without needing shot-by-shot direction
- Fast turnaround without sacrificing quality — this is a real production pipeline with real deadlines
- Comfortable managing multiple videos/projects in parallel across different clients

The Test (Before Onboarding) Before we bring anyone on, we send a reference video and a raw footage set and ask you to edit it to match the reference's style and pacing. This isn't a free-work trap — if your edit is up to the mark, we pay you for that video. It's the fastest way for both sides to know if this is a fit before committing to full-time.
