Role Description The Video Editor at Socialhikers is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. This role involves editing and assembling raw footage into engaging meme-based videos and promotional content for various digital platforms.

The Video

Editor will collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop concepts, refine storylines, and ensure that each video aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding motion graphics and visual effects,



applying color correction and grading, and optimizing videos for different social media formats. The role also includes maintaining organized project files, meeting deadlines, and contributing ideas to enhance overall content quality and performance.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including experience with industry-standard editing software.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual styles.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with Graphics to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Understanding of social media platforms, meme culture, and digital content trends.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to work under deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, design, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in marketing, advertising, or social media content creation is an advantage.
