Role Description The Video Editor (Indira Nagar) role at Gencosys is a full-time, in office position based in Lucknow. This role involves editing and assembling raw footage into polished video content for marketing, training, and corporate communication purposes. Day-to-day tasks include selecting and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and applying color corrections to ensure consistent visual quality.

Editor will collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and project teams to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback, and deliver videos aligned with brand guidelines and campaign goals.





Responsibilities may also include basic motion graphics work, preparing assets for different platforms, managing media files, and meeting production timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling end-to-end editing workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, ensuring visual consistency and enhancing overall video quality.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and branding.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or equivalents).
- Good understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and formats for social media, web, and corporate presentations.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
