Video Editor

BWC Creations, a digital marketing agency based in Chennai, is looking for a Video Editor with 1-3 years of experience to join our creative team. You'll work closely with our content, social media, and marketing teams to produce engaging video content for client campaigns across platforms.

Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, ads, and client campaigns (reels, YouTube, promotional content, etc.)
- Add graphics, text overlays, transitions, color correction, and sound design to enhance video quality
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand brief requirements and brand guidelines
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and formats (reels, stories, long-form)
- Organize and maintain a library of raw footage, project files, and finished assets
- Stay updated on video editing trends, techniques,



and platform-specific best practices

Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in an agency or content-focused environment
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
- Basic motion graphics and animation skills are a plus
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- A portfolio or reel showcasing previous editing work
- Good communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively

Nice to have

- Experience with short-form content for Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts
- Knowledge of color grading and sound mixing
- Familiarity with shooting/basic videography (not mandatory)
