Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Bengaluru South.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling educational video content, including lessons, promotional materials, and social media assets, ensuring high-quality storytelling aligned with BrightCHAMPS’ brand and learning objectives. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, color grading, and incorporating motion graphics or visual elements to enhance engagement. The role also involves collaborating closely with content creators,



instructional designers, and marketing teams to refine concepts, maintain consistent visual standards, and deliver projects on schedule.

The Video

Editor will continuously optimize content for various platforms and formats while staying current with trends in video production and edtech media.

Qualifications

- 1-2 years in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and basic Graphics work to maintain consistent visual quality and brand identity.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and visual elements to enhance storytelling and learner engagement.
- Experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Solid understanding of sound design basics, file formats, resolution standards, and platform-specific export requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in edtech, education, or youth-focused content is a plus; a degree or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
