Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically competent VFD Sales & Service Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motor control systems, and industrial automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical support, commissioning VFDs, troubleshooting, and delivering excellent customer service across industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities for VFDs and industrial automation products.
- Visit customers, understand application requirements, and recommend suitable VFD solutions.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, panel builders, consultants, and end users.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and customer support.
- Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations for customers.

Service Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and configure Variable Frequency Drives at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance, breakdown support, and troubleshooting of VFDs.
- Diagnose electrical and communication issues related to VFDs, motors, PLCs, and control panels.
- Optimize VFD parameters for various industrial applications.
- Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers.
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain service documentation.
- Coordinate with OEM technical support for complex technical issues when required.

Required Qualifications





- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in VFD sales, commissioning, and service.
- Strong knowledge of AC drives, motor control systems, electrical panels, and industrial automation.
- Experience working with major VFD brands such as CG, Delta, Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, Danfoss, Yaskawa, INVT, Fuji Electric, or similar.
- Understanding of PLCs, HMIs, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, or other industrial communication protocols is an added advantage.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics, and panel layouts.

Required Skills

- Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and site support.
- Valid driving license preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with experience in industrial automation, electrical drives, motor control, process industries, water & wastewater, HVAC, packaging, textiles, cement, steel, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, or OEM machinery are preferred.
