Solid hands-on UFT experience

UFT / Unified Functional Testing

Formerly QTP

Functional, regression and API automation experience.

Experience taking ownership of an existing automation framework

Must be able to understand and take over an existing solution with little or no documentation/handover.

Strong troubleshooting & reverse-engineering skills

Ability to independently investigate and understand existing scripts/frameworks under time pressure.

Strong automation testing fundamentals

Functional testing

Regression testing

API testing.

UFT technical skills

Object repositories

VBScript

Test data management

Automation script maintenance.

Strong communication skills

Should be able to explain technical setups to non-technical stakeholders.

Independent/self-starter

Comfortable working with minimal supervision and able to get up to speed quickly.

Immediate availability / full-time commitment

Must be available ASAP.
