Job Overview

LinguaPlanet is seeking an experienced Turkish Language Proofreader and Translator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating and proofreading a variety of content while ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate documents, articles, business communications, and educational materials between Turkish and English.
- Proofread and edit Turkish content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and accuracy.
- Ensure translations accurately convey the original meaning, tone, and intent.
- Review translated content and maintain high-quality language standards.
- Adhere to project deadlines and quality requirements.
- Maintain consistency in terminology and language usage across projects.

Requirements




- Native or near-native proficiency in Turkish.
- Proven experience in translation and proofreading.
- Strong command of both Turkish and English.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid B2, C1, or C2 Turkish language certification from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in localization, content review, or language services.
- Experience handling professional, corporate, academic, or technical content.
- Familiarity with CAT tools and translation software is an added advantage.
