Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil. This role involves consulting with clients to understand their travel requirements and budget, and designing tailored itineraries for leisure and corporate trips.

The Travel

Consultant will handle end-to-end travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transport, and activities, while ensuring reservations are accurate and cost-effective. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, providing destination guidance, managing bookings and changes, coordinating documentation, and delivering prompt, courteous customer service.



The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, vendor offerings, and promotional packages to recommend the best options to clients.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to assess client needs and create comprehensive travel plans.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations to coordinate bookings for transport, accommodation, and related services.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, resolve issues, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Relevant experience in a travel agency or tourism-related role, with familiarity in domestic and international travel options.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a quick-paced, client-focused environment.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and travel booking systems; knowledge of GDS or online booking platforms is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
