Role Description This is a full-time, on-site TGT Computer Science role based at Unicus Academy in Kotdwara. The teacher will plan and deliver structured computer science lessons aligned with the school curriculum for middle and high school learners. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching theory and practical sessions in programming and informatics, assessing student performance through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback.

The role involves guiding students in computer labs, maintaining a protected and effective learning environment, and integrating technology tools to enhance classroom instruction. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, participate in school activities, maintain accurate academic records, and engage regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core Computer Science and Informatics, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to school-level learners.




- Proficiency in Programming and Software Development sufficient to teach introductory and intermediate coding and project-based work.
- Effective Communication skills for classroom instruction, student guidance, collaboration with staff, and interaction with parents.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field; a B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience at school level or proven experience mentoring learners in computer science concepts.
- Ability to manage classrooms, design engaging lesson plans, and assess student learning using varied evaluation methods.
- Familiarity with educational technology, learning management systems, and basic hardware/software troubleshooting in a lab environment.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching practices and ongoing professional development.
