What you will do

We are seeking a hands-on Specialist – Test Automation with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and related enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of LIMS domain knowledge and automation testing expertise, enabling them to validate complex laboratory workflows, integrations, and business-critical processes. The role will focus on driving automation-first quality practices using Tricentis Tosca, while supporting functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing across laboratory and enterprise platforms.

Hands-on LIMS testing experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test assets using Tricentis Tosca.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to define effective test strategies, scenarios, and test cases.
- Act as the primary QA resource for LIMS-related projects, enhancements, and release activities.
- Validate laboratory workflows, sample lifecycle processes, instrument integrations, and related business processes within LIMS applications.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, API, System, and End-to-End testing.
- Validate system configurations, interfaces, and data flows between LIMS and other enterprise applications, including SAP where applicable.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through successful resolution.
- Collaborate closely with laboratory users, business process owners, developers, business analysts, and support teams.
- Support test automation framework enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to CI/CD-based quality engineering practices and automated testing processes.
- Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, validation documentation,



and testing artifacts.
- Support testing and validation activities in regulated and quality-controlled environments.

What you will need Required Experience & Expertise

- 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Automation Testing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.
- Hands-on experience testing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Solid understanding of laboratory workflows, sample lifecycle management, and laboratory business processes.
- Experience validating LIMS configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated test suites.
- Experience creating reusable automation assets and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, API, and End-to-End Testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, JIRA, or equivalent platforms.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and automated test execution within delivery pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Selenium automation framework experience.
- API testing using Postman or similar tools.




- SQL and data validation experience.
- Experience with CI/CD-based testing practices.
- Understanding of automation framework design and maintenance.
- Experience testing SAP integrations with LIMS.
- ISTQB, Tricentis Tosca, or equivalent testing certification.

Preferred Domain Experience

- Manufacturing, Chemicals, Life Sciences, Laboratory, or R&D; environments.
- Experience working in regulated or quality-controlled environments.
- Exposure to laboratory instrument integrations and data interfaces.
- Experience supporting digital laboratory transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to SAP application testing experience will be an added advantage.
