Role Description The Tendering Engineer role at A. Shridhar is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Tendering

Engineer is responsible for preparing and reviewing tender documents, including technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates. This role involves analyzing project specifications, coordinating with procurement and engineering teams, and obtaining competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Engineer will evaluate bids, identify risks and opportunities,



and support negotiations to achieve favorable terms. Daily tasks also include maintaining tender records, collaborating with project and finance teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of tendering processes and strategies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust analytical skills for cost estimation, bid evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess expertise in handling quotations and procurement activities related to construction projects.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline for technical evaluation.
