Internship Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Technical Writing Intern to assist in creating explicit, accurate, and well-structured documentation for our cybersecurity and deception technology solutions.
Candidates must have some prior exposure to technical writing through internships, academic projects, freelance assignments, certifications, or practical work samples. The intern should be willing to understand the product, its technical architecture and workflows, and the purpose and requirements of an RFP before preparing any document.
The selected intern must apply their own understanding, analytical thinking, and writing abilities. AI tools may be used only for assistance and must not replace independent research, product understanding, technical analysis, or original writing. Copied, generic, or unverified AI-generated content will not be accepted.
If the intern’s performance, quality of work, technical understanding, and overall contribution are found satisfactory during the internship, they may be offered an opportunity to join the company in a permanent full-time role.

- Deployment and implementation guides
- API documentation
- Integration guides
- Architecture and technical workflow documents
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Troubleshooting documents
- Release notes and feature documentation
- Training and knowledge-transfer materials
- Study and understand the company’s cybersecurity products, including their features, architecture, workflows, use cases, integrations, and deployment requirements.
- Learn to understand the purpose, structure, scope, eligibility criteria, technical requirements, and compliance requirements of RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
- Assist in preparing RFP responses, compliance documents, technical proposals, solution descriptions, implementation plans, training plans, and other supporting bid documents.
- Analyse the requirements of each assigned RFP and prepare relevant, requirement-specific responses instead of using generic or copied content.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, deployment, sales, presales, and support teams to gather and verify technical information.
- Ask relevant questions and seek clarification whenever technical information or requirements are incomplete or unclear.
- Convert technical concepts into clear and understandable content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Review, proofread, and update documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and readability.
- Follow the company’s documentation standards, templates, formatting guidelines, terminology, and version-control practices.
- Take responsibility for assigned documentation and complete tasks accurately within the specified timelines.

Basic understanding of software, networking, information technology, or cybersecurity concepts.
Strong written English, grammar, proofreading, editing, and document-structuring skills.
Ability and willingness to understand a technical product thoroughly before writing about it.
Ability to read technical information, conduct independent research, and create original and relevant content.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly, ask meaningful questions, accept feedback, and work independently when required.
Candidates should be able to provide relevant writing samples or complete a short technical-writing assessment as part of the selection process.
Responsible Use of AI Tools
AI tools may be used only for limited assistance with brainstorming, language improvement, formatting, or proofreading.
The intern must not depend entirely on AI-generated content to complete assigned work.
Every document must demonstrate the intern’s own understanding of the product, technology, RFP requirements, and intended audience.
All AI-assisted content must be independently reviewed, verified, customised, and corrected before submission.
Generic, inaccurate, irrelevant, copied, or unverified AI-generated content will not be accepted.
The intern will remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, relevance, and quality of every document submitted.
Preferred Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, English, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Previous exposure to cybersecurity, networking, cloud infrastructure, APIs, or enterprise software.
Familiarity with RFP/RFQ responses, tender documentation, technical compliance sheets, product documentation, or technical proposals.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity terminology, network architecture, deployment models, system integrations, and enterprise IT environments.
Internship-to-Employment Opportunity The intern’s performance will be evaluated based on:
Quality and accuracy of documentation
Ability to understand the product and its technical concepts
Ability to understand and respond to RFP requirements
Originality and relevance of the content
Responsible use of AI tools
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Timely completion of assigned work
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and incorporate feedback
