Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager - Java to lead enterprise software delivery initiatives, manage client relationships, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in Java technologies with proven delivery management experience, team leadership capabilities, and customer engagement skills.

In this role, you will oversee project execution, manage engineering teams, collaborate closely with clients, provide technology consulting, and identify opportunities to expand existing business engagements through innovative solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Management

- Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise software development projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track delivery metrics, resource utilization, and overall project health.

Client & • Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client delivery and technical discussions.
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into technology solutions.
- Conduct solution workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and project governance meetings.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and leadership teams.

Business Growth & • Account Expansion
- Identify opportunities for account growth, enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.




- Partner with leadership and sales teams on solutioning and pre-sales activities.
- Participate in effort estimation, proposal development, and technical presentations.
- Drive revenue growth through consultative client engagement and strategic technology recommendations.

Team Leadership & • People Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage engineering teams comprising Developers, Leads, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Architects.
- Drive performance management, career development, and employee engagement.
- Support hiring, workforce planning, and resource allocation activities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Technical Leadership
- Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight across projects.
- Review solution designs and ensure adherence to scalability, security, and performance standards.
- Support teams in adopting modern engineering practices, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies.
- Facilitate technical decision-making and risk mitigation.

Required Experience & • Qualifications
- 12+ years of overall IT experience, with a robust background in Java-based enterprise application development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Delivery Manager, Delivery Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role managing technical teams.
- Proven experience managing teams of 10+ engineers including Developers, Technical Leads, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Architects.
- Strong experience delivering multiple concurrent enterprise software projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in client-facing roles involving stakeholder management, solution discussions, delivery governance, and escalation management.




- Experience identifying business opportunities and driving account expansion within existing client engagements.
- Strong understanding of project planning, estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.

Technical Expertise
- Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with REST API design and development.
- Good understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure Cloud Platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git.
- Experience working with Relational and NoSQL Databases.
- Understanding of performance tuning, scalability, security best practices, and application monitoring.

- PMP, Scrum Master, AWS, Azure, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
