Role Description This full-time Technical Coordinator role is an on-site position based in Chennai.

The Technical

Coordinator will coordinate technical support activities for marine equipment and spare parts, including handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and liaising with internal technical teams and external vendors. The role involves monitoring project timelines, tracking orders and service jobs, and ensuring accurate documentation for repair, maintenance, and spare parts supply.

The Technical

Coordinator will communicate regularly with customers to clarify technical requirements, provide status updates, and support issue resolution.



The individual will also assist in improving workflows, maintaining databases and records, and supporting compliance with company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for reviewing technical specifications, troubleshooting issues, and supporting data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers, and to prepare explicit technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to understand marine equipment and spare parts, coordinate service activities, and assist in resolving technical queries.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage client expectations, respond promptly to requests, and maintain professional relationships.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to track orders and service projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualification in engineering, marine, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in the marine, industrial, or logistics sector will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or order management systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work accurately under time constraints and attention to detail in documentation and coordination.
