Role Description The Tax Return & Bookkeeping Executive is responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns, managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, and supporting accurate financial reporting. This full-time, on-site role based in Punjab, India includes entering and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and accounting standards.



The role involves working with accounting software to process transactions, generate financial statements, and support payroll and tax compliance tasks as needed.

The executive collaborates with team members to deliver timely, high-quality services to international clients, while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to company processes.

Qualifications

- Strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and handling day-to-day financial records
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and support financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms)
- Knowledge of finance principles and practical experience with journal entries in accounting
- Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- Understanding of tax return preparation and basic tax compliance processes
- Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
- Prior experience in an accounting or tax services firm is an advantage
