We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and a good understanding of Microsoft Fabric. The candidate should be strong in Power BI reporting, dashboards, DAX, data modeling, SQL, and data visualization, with working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Perform data transformation using Power Query.
- Develop efficient and scalable data models.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Implement Power BI security, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Manage datasets, reports, workspaces, refresh schedules, and gateways.
- Troubleshoot Power BI report, data refresh, and performance issues.
- Work with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for better performance.

Microsoft Fabric Knowledge

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
- Understanding of OneLake, Lakehouse,



Warehouse, Data Factory, and Dataflows Gen2.
- Knowledge of integrating Microsoft Fabric with Power BI.
- Understanding of Fabric semantic models and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of Direct Lake, Import, and DirectQuery modes.
- Exposure to Fabric data ingestion and transformation is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Fabric notebooks/Spark is a plus.

Required Skills

- 5–8 years of Power BI experience.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Strong DAX, Power Query, and SQL skills.
- Positive understanding of data modeling and visualization.
- Good knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts.
- **Good working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse knowledge.
- Python/PySpark exposure.
- Power BI deployment pipelines and CI/CD knowledge.
- Git knowledge.
- Power BI REST API knowledge.
- Microsoft Fabric certification such as DP-600.
