LinguaPlanet is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Swedish Language Proofreader / Translator to join our growing network of language professionals. Responsibilities

- Translate content between English and Swedish while maintaining accuracy, context, and tone.
- Proofread and edit Swedish-language documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and consistency.
- Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and linguistically accurate.
- Adhere to client-specific terminology and style guidelines.
- Deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.

Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Swedish.
- Robust command of English, both written and spoken.




- Proven experience in translation, proofreading, editing, or localization.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Swedish Language, or a related field.
- Experience with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar platforms.
- Experience in technical, legal, marketing, medical, or localization projects is a plus.
