Full Time Support Worker The Retreat – Mary Rush Care

Mary Rush Care is looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Full Time Support Worker to join our dedicated team at The Retreat, our residential care home providing high-quality, person-centred support to adults with a range of needs.

This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in helping the people we support live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives while promoting dignity, choice and respect at all times.

About The Role

As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with all aspects of daily living whilst encouraging independence and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Your Duties May Include

- Providing person-centred care and emotional support.
- Assisting with personal care where required.
- Supporting individuals with cooking, cleaning and daily household tasks.
- Administering medication following training and company procedures.
- Encouraging participation in hobbies, social activities and community outings.
- Attending appointments and helping individuals maintain active lifestyles.
- Completing daily records and care documentation accurately.
- Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care.





Driving is an Essential Requirement This position requires the successful applicant to hold a full UK driving licence and be confident driving the company vehicle.

Supporting our residents to access the local community, attend appointments, enjoy activities and maintain independence forms a significant part of this role. Applicants must be willing and able to drive the company vehicle regularly as part of their normal duties.
