About the Role
Rahul Sir Classes is looking for a motivated and student-focused Student Counselor who can guide students and parents regarding courses, admissions, academic requirements, and career-related decisions.
The counselor will be responsible for understanding students' needs, explaining suitable courses, following up with prospective students, and supporting them throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding available courses, batches, fees, schedules, and admission procedures.
- Understand students' academic goals and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Coordinate with faculty and the management team regarding student requirements.
- Address students' and parents' basic queries and resolve issues or escalate them when required.
- Achieve assigned admission/enrollment targets.
- Participate in counseling sessions, seminars, orientation programs, and promotional activities when required.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; relevant education/counseling experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with students and parents.
- Good Hindi and English communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Good follow-up and convincing skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in an educational institute, coaching center, sales, or counseling role is preferred.
