Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Building engineering from a recognized university or college. Work experience of more than 10 years in all facets of plant structural engineering and design of stick-built /module (onshore and offshore) Structures of Oil & Gas / petrochemical facility development.

- Working as part of the Civil Engineering Project Team with specific responsibility for:

Structural

Design of Piperack, equipment supporting structure, shelter, platform, miscellaneous support for oil refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing plant projects

Design

Complaince as per relevant international codes and/or project specifications/guidelines

- Capability as Engineering Checker for the above works including drawing and calculation checking [UG design checker capability will be added advantage]
- Review of Inputs including Piping Loads, Structural Load Data & Eqpt Data
- Preparing design specification, standard drawing, work instructions and procedures.

Performing Civil

Concrete design as per relevant international codes and/or project specifications/guidelines, including optimisation
- Proactively discuss and resolve design conflicts with other disciplines
- Providing guidance, inputs & Supervision to other engineers and designers for engineering, 3D modelling and 2D drawings
- Functioning as Asst LE (Deputy to Civil Lead Engineer) for Small and medium projects
- Functioning as independent LE for Detailed engineering workshares from home office
- Working as Field Engineer for short tenures as required




- Working at other Operating Centres of company performing these roles

Requirements

1. Knowledge of structural engineering input and output
- Knowledge of international code and standards (such as AISC, ASCE, ACI, PIP, Eurocode and BS etc...) for steel and concrete structural design
- Knowledge of international code and standards (such as ASCE, UBC etc...) for wind load and seismic load
- Prior experience of STAAD Pro Software
- Willing to adapt to the organisation’s method of work delivery
- Awareness of standard international styles of business communication and experience in the preparation of business and technical documentation
- Prior exposure to plant facilities (Piping, Electrical, Instrument, Equipment etc.) in oil refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing plant projects
- Knowledge of design information of plant facilities (Piping, Electrical, Instrument, Equipment etc.) in oil refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing plant projects STAAD PRO operation skills.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modelling philosophy
- Calculation knowledge of connection capacity
- Navisworks operation skills.
- MS office & Excel operation skills.
- Flexibility of working in project team as originator or supervisor as required
- Knowledge of transport analysis (pre-service analysis) of module structure including optimisation may be considered as necessary requirement, depending on current position
- Knowledge of Concrete and Building Design will be considered as additional Skill
