Must have skills : ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Job Summary We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SPM Senior Developer to design, develop, and enhance Strategic Portfolio Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on enabling enterprise portfolio visibility, demand management, project and agile planning, resource management, and financial tracking to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Design and implement ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions, including: Demand Management Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Agile Development / SAFe Planning Resource Management Financial Management Idea and Intake Management Configure and customize SPM applications, forms, workflows, and business rules.

Develop and maintain: Business Rules Script Includes Client Scripts UI Policies / UI Actions Scheduled Jobs Build and optimize SPM dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics indicators. Implement portfolio-level visibility for projects, programs, and initiatives. Integrate SPM with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and external financial systems. Automate demand intake, prioritization, and approval workflows.

Support

Agile and SAFe planning (epics, features, stories, PI planning). Ensure data accuracy in project, resource, and financial tracking modules. Collaborate with business stakeholders, PMOs, and enterprise architects. Troubleshoot and resolve SPM configuration and performance issues. Participate in platform upgrades and ensure compatibility of SPM customizations.

ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.

Required Skills 5–10+ years of ServiceNow development experience.



Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow SPM / PPM modules. Expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.

Strong understanding of: Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Demand Management Agile Development / SAFe framework Resource and Financial Management Experience with: Flow Designer Business Rules Script Includes Glide APIs Experience building reports and dashboards using Performance Analytics. Strong understanding of data modeling and ServiceNow platform architecture.

Experience with REST/SOAP integrations. Good understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management processes.

Preferred Skills Experience with: CMDB and CSDM ITSM integration with SPM IntegrationHub Financial Planning systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle) Agile Development 2.0 / Protected tooling Knowledge of portfolio governance and enterprise PMO processes. Exposure to automation and AI-driven insights in SPM.

Experience with ServiceNow Now Platform upgrades and optimization.

Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Preferred ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Preferred ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM / PPM – Highly Preferred ITIL Foundation Certification – Preferred Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions. Strong attention to detail and governance mindset. Ability to manage multiple enterprise priorities effectively. Nice to Have Experience in enterprise PMO transformation programs.

Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and portfolio optimization. Exposure to AI/ML-driven portfolio analytics.

Experience integrating SPM with ERP and HR systems. Familiarity with Agile transformation at enterprise scale.
