Role Description The Store Manager role at DMart in Ahmedabad is a full time, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

The Store

Manager supervises staff scheduling, training, and performance, while maintaining store standards, cleanliness, and visual merchandising. This role includes tracking sales, monitoring inventory levels, managing stock replenishment, and coordinating with supply chain and back-office teams.

Manager handles customer queries and escalations,



supports customer service initiatives, and enforces policies for retail loss prevention and compliance. The role also involves analyzing store performance, implementing process improvements, and contributing to local promotional activities.

Qualifications

- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to resolve issues and build long-term shopper loyalty.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and cross-functional partners.
- Proven Store Management capabilities, including team supervision, day-to-day operations, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including shrink control, cash handling discipline, and policy adherence.
- Experience in retail or supermarket operations; prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make data-informed decisions, and manage multiple priorities.
- Good numerical and analytical skills for sales tracking, inventory management, and reporting.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
