About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive professional who can independently handle Startup India registrations, government licences, certifications, ISO and food-related compliances, government schemes, startup loans and funding-related documentation and applications.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying applicable registrations/certifications for the company, coordinating with government departments and certification agencies, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely completion and renewal of compliances.

Key Responsibilities

Startup & Government Registrations

Startup India / DPIIT Recognition

MSME / Udyam Registration

Government and business-related registrations

Identification of applicable government schemes and benefits for startups

Handling registration, renewal and compliance documentation

ISO & Certifications

Identify and coordinate for applicable ISO certifications

ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22000 and other relevant certifications

Coordinate with certification bodies and auditors

Prepare and maintain required documentation

Ensure timely renewals and compliance

Food & FSSAI Compliance

FSSAI registration/licence and related compliances

Identify other food-related licences, registrations and certifications applicable to the business

Coordinate with consultants/agencies/government departments

Maintain records and renewal schedules

Startup Loans & Government Funding

Research and identify suitable startup loans and government funding schemes

Support applications for startup/business loans

Identify schemes such as MSME and other eligible government programmes

Prepare application documents, business profiles and supporting documentation

Coordinate with banks, NBFCs,



government departments and funding agencies

Track applications from submission to approval/disbursement

Funding & Grants

Identify relevant startup grants, subsidies and funding opportunities

Assist in preparing pitch decks, business plans, project reports and financial/documentation requirements

Coordinate with investors, incubators, accelerators and funding platforms where required

Required Skills

Good knowledge of Indian startup registrations and business compliances

Practical experience with Startup India/DPIIT, MSME/Udyam and government portals

Knowledge of ISO certification processes

Knowledge of FSSAI and food-industry compliances

Understanding of startup loans, government schemes, grants and subsidies

Strong documentation and application-handling skills

Positive communication and follow-up skills

Ability to independently coordinate with government departments, banks, certification agencies and consultants

Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace

Preferred Experience

Candidates who have previously worked with:

Startups / MSMEs

CA/CS/Legal/Compliance firms

Business consultancy firms

ISO certification consultants

FSSAI/food compliance consultants

Government loan/funding consultants

Startup incubators or accelerators will be preferred.

Important Requirement

Candidate should be capable of independently identifying which licences, registrations and certifications are applicable to the company and should not limit their work only to the registrations specifically mentioned above.

The candidate will be expected to regularly research new government schemes, startup benefits, grants, subsidies, loans, certifications and compliance requirements applicable to the business.
