PURPOSE OF ROLE:

- Under Armour is looking for a Strategic Procurement Sr. Professional on the Technology Procurement team, responsible for managing technology renewals, leading negotiations with suppliers, managing licensing order form procurements, reviewing and redlining SOW’s, and completing IT Change Orders.
- This role will also support the Software Asset Management (SAM) function within Procurement ensuring new orders are updated in our SAM solution and managing updates for renewals.




- This role will partner closely with cross functional teams such as Finance, Legal, IT, and will work collaboratively with global spend category team members within Procurement for regional execution of global category strategies.

YOUR IMPACT:

- Manage tactical projects in our larger sourcing pipeline, prioritizing benchmarking and demand management plays to reduce organizational costs while mitigating contractual risks
- Reduce IT costs to align to external benchmarks / internal SG&A; reduction targets
- Work with 3rd party market intelligence partners to identify best practices
- Lead ad-hoc projects to support procurement functions as needed
- Build strong relationships with and act as a strategic partner for internal and cross functional leadership and operational teams in a matrixed organization to manage overall execution of multiple programs and projects to meet goals and targeted results, leading and influencing change management practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance / supply chain management / business administration or related background
- Strong Contract Management experience (formal negotiation training is preferred, but not required)
- Experience working with large Technology companies
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Procurement, Finance, Management Consulting, or Project Management with proven track record of success in leading projects that involve cost take-out and contractual risk mitigation
- Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate negotiations internally and externally with supplier partners
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint)
