Position: Sr Mechanical Engineer for Digital HW+ Engineering (TT90ST RM 4368)

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support HARMAN’s Digital HW+ Engineering initiative. The objective is to integrate simulation into Mechanical Engineering development processes and establish reusable material and simulation libraries to enable Model-Based Engineering.

Responsibilities

- Support the integration of simulation activities into ME development processes (PLM 360).
- Analyze current Mechanical Engineering workflows and identify simulation integration opportunities.
- Define process updates, work products, and engineering guidelines.
- Support the definition and governance of material and mechanical simulation libraries.
- Define requirements for reusable engineering models (CAD, FEA, CFD, thermal,



structural and material models).
- Collaborate with Digital Twin, Process, and Mechanical Engineering teams.
- Prepare process documentation, presentations, and technical recommendations.

Required Profile

- Senior Mechanical Engineer (10+ years preferred).
- Strong background in mechanical product development.
- Valuable understanding of engineering simulation methodologies.
- Experience with:
- CAD
- FEA
- CFD
- Thermal simulation
- Material models
- Experience describing and improving engineering processes.
- Ability to work in international cross-functional teams.
- Excellent English communication skills.
