Business Role - Asset Management – this role will be reporting to CEO - Squareyards AMC business who runs the real estate fund, asset management and capital markets vertical of Square Yards

Location – Mumbai

Roles and Responsibilities

1. conduction entity and property level title, litigation, encumbrances and other project and corporate entity level diligence for investment
2. Drafting/Reviewing various documents pertaining to Debt Transaction for Project / Private Equity Transaction, Deed of Mortgage, Pledge of Shares, Deposit of Title Deeds, Shareholders Agreement, etc.
3. Good at Company Law and functional knowledge of dematerialization
4.



Working knowledge of IBC/Corporate Laws/Real Estate Laws/FDI/RBI Regulations
5. Drafting/reviewing various documents like Agreement for Sale, Conveyance Deed, Development Agreement, Agreement to Lease, Deed of Assignment, Lease Deed, Leave & Licence Agreements, Escrow Agreements, Power of Attorney.
6. Working knowledge of various redevelopment/development schemes SRA/Tenant/Society/Township/JDA, etc. in metro cities in India
7. Excellent drafting, vetting and communication skills required
8. implication of stamp duty, registration, and other land related compliances at state level

Requirements:

- Degree in corporate law
- Licensed to practice law from the All-India Bar Council
- 5-10 years of experience as a corporate lawyer.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly analytical with robust attention to detail
- Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
