Role Description: The Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager - Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) is a full-time, on-site position based in Maharashtra, India. The role is responsible for overseeing the Performance guarantee tests of projects, final acceptance with client, operations and maintenance, and performance optimization of solar power plants while ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient plant operations in compliance with technical, regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements.

A key responsibility of the role is to oversee compliance with Performance Guarantee (PG)



obligations and coordinate activities related to Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) issuance. The incumbent will work closely with the Project Team, Corporate/HQ O&M; Team, OEMs, and Clients to monitor contractual performance guarantees, validate performance test results, address punch-point closures, and facilitate successful project handover and final acceptance in accordance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in electrical.
2. Experience in Operations & Maintenance of utility-scale solar power plants.
3. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, HT/LT electrical systems, SCADA, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and balance-of-plant equipment.
4. Experience in plant performance monitoring, generation analysis, PR/CUF evaluation, Performance Guarantee compliance, and reliability improvement.
5. Knowledge of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance practices.
6. Familiarity with Thermography, IV-Curve Testing, module degradation analysis, warranty management, and condition monitoring techniques.
7. Experience in project handover activities, punch-point management, FAC coordination, and stakeholder engagement with clients and EPC/OEM partners.
8. Strong leadership, planning, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.
9. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple sites, resources, and operational priorities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards.
