Software Engineer-Test Automation or Quality Assurance Engineer.

Must-Have Skills: Strong professional backend engineering experience. Robust test engineering and automation experience. Hands-on experience developing backend services using Java or Kotlin.

Advanced

TypeScript skills. Hands-on Playwright experience, including creating and maintaining test frameworks.

Experience writing functional, integration, API. Ability to write clear, comprehensive, and maintainable test cases. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution. Ability to contribute independently to production code, not only test code.

Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms, containerized services, or microservice architectures.



Experience with performance, reliability, accessibility, or contract testing. REST APIs and backend services. Git and pull-request workflows. CI/CD platforms. Web and mobile web testing tools.

Scope of Work: We are looking for a hands-on backend engineer with strong quality and test automation expertise. The contractor will initially focus on test engineering and building automated tests using TypeScript and Playwright, with opportunities to expand into broader backend engineering work using Java or Kotlin.

Required Hours: 80-90% overlap. EST hours
