About The Role

We are seeking a skilled MySQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and optimizing our database solutions to support various business applications. This role involves creating and maintaining efficient database structures, writing complex SQL queries, and ensuring data integrity and security.

The MySQL Developer will work closely with software developers, data analysts, and application teams to deliver high-performance, reliable database systems that underpin our digital infrastructure. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Demonstrated expertise in MySQL database architecture and administration is essential, along with proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries. Candidates should have experience working with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views,



as well as a robust understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing.

Knowledge of backup and recovery processes, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting is required. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be advantageous.

Certifications in database management or related fields are a plus.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases and associated database objects to meet business requirements.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

- Troubleshoot database-related issues promptly, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with software developers and application teams to facilitate seamless database integration and support application development projects.




- Assist in database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities to support evolving business needs.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to database structures, processes, and security measures.
- Implement and enforce database security policies, access controls, and user management protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
