Paid Engagement

We are exploring the development of a new technology product in the point-of-sale, payment terminal and merchant software space.

We are looking for a highly capable software engineer or technical lead with a strong understanding of how up-to-date POS systems, payment terminals and merchant platforms work.

This is not a general web or mobile app development role.

We are specifically interested in candidates with meaningful hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

- POS system architecture
- Payment terminals and terminal integrations
- Payment processing infrastructure
- Merchant software and payment APIs
- POS hardware/software communication
- Backend and cloud architecture
- Payment gateway or processor integrations
- Building or integrating commercial payment products

Experience working with or integrating platforms such as Clover, Square, Lightspeed, Toast, Shopify POS, Stripe Terminal, Moneris, Global Payments, Adyen, PAX, Ingenico or Verifone would be highly relevant.





What we are looking forWe want someone who can do more than simply write code.

The right person should be able to understand an early-stage business concept, assess technical feasibility, identify potential limitations, recommend an appropriate architecture and help build the product.
