Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Software Engineer.

The Software

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and AI-powered automation systems that integrate with clients’ existing tools and workflows. Daily tasks include implementing APIs, building scalable and secure server-side logic, collaborating with team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and optimizing performance and reliability. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues,



writing clean and maintainable code, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices for automation and integration projects.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-ready applications.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns.
- Experience integrating third-party services and working with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying backend services.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a contract setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with AI/ML tools, automation platforms, or workflow orchestration is a plus.
