About The Role The Actimize SME (Subject Matter Expert) role at Tata Consultancy Services is a critical position designed for professionals with deep expertise in financial crime compliance and fraud detection systems. The incumbent will serve as a technical and functional specialist in the Actimize platform, primarily focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Detection, and Compliance domains. This role involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their requirements, analyzing existing systems, and providing expert guidance on the implementation and optimization of Actimize modules.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end flow of Actimize applications, including modules such as Suspicious Activity Monitoring, Risk Case Manager, Suspicious Activity Reporting, Watch List Filtering, Customer Due Diligence, and Integrated Fraud Management. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The SME will also be responsible for creating regression test suites to ensure seamless data flow across upstream and downstream systems, thereby maintaining system integrity and compliance standards.
Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in financial crime compliance systems, with a focus on Actimize or similar platforms. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is required; advanced certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are highly advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical and functional expertise in Actimize modules, including SAM, WLF, CDD, and IFM.
Familiarity with Actimize Visual Modeler, Risk-Case Manager Designer, and Actimize Intelligence Server is essential. A solid understanding of AML regulations, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC sanctions, and financial crime compliance frameworks is necessary. Excellent communication skills, experience in requirement gathering, and customer interaction are critical.
Certifications in relevant areas will be considered an added advantage, highlighting the candidate's commitment to professional development and expertise in the domain.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to gather and understand their requirements related to Actimize solutions, ensuring alignment with their compliance and fraud detection needs.
- Provide expert guidance on the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Actimize modules such as SAM, RCM, SAR, WLF, CDD/KYC, and IFM.
- Analyze existing systems and workflows to identify gaps and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and compliance adherence.
- Design, develop, and maintain regression test suites to validate data flow across upstream and downstream systems, ensuring system integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Actimize applications and integrations.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and best practices to support ongoing operations and audits.
- Stay updated on the latest industry regulations, compliance standards, and Actimize platform features to continuously improve system capabilities.
