Role Summary:

Lead Software Asset Management (SAM) operations by ensuring software license compliance, asset optimization, and governance across the organization. Leverage expertise in licensing models (Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Flexera, etc.) and asset management tools (SCCM, JAMF, ServiceNow) while managing client relationships, leading a team, handling escalations, and collaborating with global stakeholders to drive operational excellence and informed business decisions.

Skillset s Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in IT support, software licensing, or software asset management.




- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work in Hybrid Model and Rotational shifts to support operations across global time zones (24/7 environment).

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage Software Asset Management operations, ensuring adherence to software lifecycle management processes.
- Robust expertise in software licensing, stakeholder management, client engagement, people management, and escalation handling.
- Through understanding and knowledge of software asset management and its Lifecycle process.
- Good Knowledge and understanding of various Software products and their licensing guidelines. E.g. Adobe, Microsoft , IBM, Sam Pro, Flexera etc
- Data analysis, particularly working with Microsoft Excel to analyze software data that can be used to drive key business decisions
- Good Communication skills required since will be interacting with people/teams across geographies
- Experience with Asset management tools , like SCCM , JAMF, SNOW etc.
- Will need to work on Service Desk Requests and in shift timings as per business needs. Working knowledge on Service Now tool is required .
- Actively assesses risk and cost take out opportunities and makes recommendations to Software Owners and Software Asset Management leadership to optimize the software asset portfolio.
- Work closely with subject matter experts, including system architects, system administrators, project and program managers, financial managers, and engineers to obtain critical information required for the management of software.
