About the Role

We are looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Marketing Intern who understands the internet, has strong creative instincts, and can turn complex ideas into content people actually want to consume.

This is not a "just post on Instagram" internship.

You will own content across our social channels, work closely with the founders, research industries and trends, create short-form content, and help build the BlackMass Energies brand from the ground up.

What You'll DoContent Creation

- Create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube and other relevant platforms
- Write posts, carousels, threads, scripts, newsletters, and short-form content
- Create and edit Reels, Shorts and other video formats
- Turn technical topics into simple, engaging, easy-to-understand content
- Develop founder-led content and personal branding
- Create content around battery recycling, critical minerals, rare earths, energy, AI, manufacturing, and climate-tech

Social Media Management
- Manage day-to-day social media publishing
- Build and maintain content calendars
- Track trends, formats, conversations, and competitors
- Identify opportunities for timely/reactive content
- Monitor engagement and audience growth
- Experiment with different content formats and distribution strategies

Research & Storytelling
- Research global developments in critical minerals, batteries, recycling, energy, technology, and geopolitics
- Identify interesting stories, data points, companies, people, and trends
- Convert research into compelling narratives




- Find ways to make technical and industrial topics interesting to a broader audience

Growth & Brand
- Help build the company's digital presence from the ground up
- Develop content experiments to increase reach and engagement
- Support founder branding and thought leadership
- Identify podcast, media, event, collaboration, and PR opportunities
- Use AI tools for research, ideation, scripting, editing, design, and productivity

- Be a solid writer and communicator
- Have good visual and creative instincts
- Understand what makes people stop scrolling
- Be comfortable creating short-form videos
- Learn quickly and research deeply
- Be comfortable experimenting and trying unconventional ideas
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be proactive and able to work independently
- Be interested in startups, technology, AI, energy, climate-tech, or deep-tech

Students and freshers are welcome. Prior experience in content creation, social media, marketing, media, journalism, design, or video is a plus, but proof of work matters more than certificates.
