About the Role

Almond is looking for a Site Engineer to manage and coordinate the execution of our interior projects, including false ceilings, partitions, acoustic systems, and architectural interior solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day site execution of interior works.
- Manage installation activities for false ceilings, partitions, acoustic systems, and related interior works.
- Read, interpret, and assist with architectural drawings, reflected ceiling plans, shop drawings, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and other resources required for site activities.
- Monitor work progress and ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and installation quality at site.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and BOQ requirements.
- Conduct site measurements and assist with quantity verification and billing documentation.
- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports and maintain required site records.
- Identify site issues, coordinate solutions, and communicate requirements to the project team.




- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling at site.
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and project procedures.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure timely rectification of quality issues.
- Support project handover and completion activities.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant site experience, preferably in interior fit-out, false ceiling, partition, acoustic, or construction projects.
- Positive understanding of construction and interior installation practices.
- Ability to read drawings and understand measurements and specifications.
- Good site coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate and manage site teams and subcontractors.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and site documentation will be an advantage.
