ABOUT THE ROLE The Site Engineer role offers a unique blend of desk and field work. You will oversee live construction and retrofitting sites, carry out non-destructive testing and structural assessments, prepare as-built drawings and analytical models, and coordinate directly with clients. It is an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth, practical knowledge of site management, structural testing and design — building a strong foundation for a successful engineering career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Monitoring & Management

▪ Oversee ongoing construction and retrofitting sites to ensure smooth and effective operations.

▪ Conduct in office inspections to monitor work quality and compliance with engineering standards.

Non-Destructive & Structural Member Testing

▪ Perform and document non-destructive tests (NDT)



and structural member testing for accurate assessment of structural health.

▪ Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations based on test results. Inspections, Analysis & Design

▪ Conduct periodic inspections and prepare comprehensive condition reports, identifying necessary repairs or reinforcements.

▪ Analyse and design building structures to ensure stability and durability.

▪ Perform manual calculations for design checks in line with relevant industry standards and codes.

Client Coordination & Documentation

▪ Liaise with clients, updating them on site progress and addressing queries regarding site operations.

▪ Ensure thorough documentation of all project phases for transparency and future reference.
