Department : Production

Purpose : To achieve shift production in Tire Building area

S.No Role Task

1 Ensure safety Identification and closure of unsafe condition

Identification and closure of unsafe act

Ensure 100% usage of PPE

Provide JSA training to all existing operators and Recent joinees

2 Achieve Shift Production Ensure Product Quality

Avoid Shift wise overaged material - Part roll, Fabric, Compound, Inner, Bead and Steel Belt

Avoid Shift wise overaged material - Green Tire and Carcass

Avoid number of cut ply generation and Part Roll generation

Reduce tyre scrap due to building process

Reduce Green Tire and Carcass scrap

Reduce fabric scrap

Avoid band short close

Conduct layered audit for process and product quality

Prepare Shiftwise classification of scrap

Ensure Zero quality accident

Adhere compliance of MHE (Right material-Right MHE)

Enhance Tire Building Delivery

Scan Input & Output material

Adherance to NGT & LD

Avoid tire loss due to building process

Adhere Positional Manpower as per Plan

System Implementation and Follow up





Ensure 100% usage of A - frame trolley

Follow up for updation in Kanban Board

Maintain 5S in shop floor

Follow Spider man system for online material availablity

Follow up for completion of 3C (Constant quantity,Constant container,Constant location) board

3 Execute Tire Building Cost Optimization activities Reduce Naptha consumption

Track DC (Direct Consummables) and IDC (Indirect Consummables) cost and highlight to Section Incharge in case of deviation

4 Carry out activities related to Employee Engagement Provide Process wise training for operators

Follow up Operators for SOP adherance

Provide OPL training to operators

Monitor Employee Involvement in JH activities

Monitor Employee Involvement in Idea generation

5 Execute activities for Implementation of TPM &TQM; Update Circle Board, Conduct Circle meeting and Conduct JH step audit

Implemen Kaizen as per plan

Complet QCC Project as per plan

Pass entries in CMMS for breakdowns

Identify and initiate corrective action with respect to 5S abnormalities

Update PD DRM and conduct Tire - 1 meeting
