Join an established Australian mortgage broking firm as a Settlement Officer, working fully on site with a supportive back office team and genuine room to grow as the business scales. This role picks up each deal once the application has been lodged, owning the file from lodgement through to settlement by following up with lenders, chasing outstanding conditions and keeping documentation accurate throughout.

Working from clear templates and established processes, you will progress files to unconditional approval and settlement while keeping brokers and clients updated at every step. The ideal person is highly organised, detail focused and proactive, comfortable managing a pipeline of files and staying ahead of deadlines without being chased.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take carriage of loan files once the application has been lodged, progressing each deal through to unconditional approval and settlement.

• Follow up with lenders to track application progress and secure approvals, valuations and settlement dates.

• Respond to lender information requests (MIRs), gathering and submitting outstanding documents promptly and accurately.

• Manage settlement conditions from start to finish, making sure every requirement is met ahead of the settlement date.

• Draft and send status updates, including unconditional approval and settlement communications, using established templates to clients.

• Keep loan documentation, file notes and CRM records accurate and up to date throughout the process.





• Liaise with brokers and the back office team to keep files moving and flag anything at risk of delay.

• Proactively monitor timelines and follow-ups so nothing slips between lodgement and settlement.

What We Are Looking For:

- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Able to work Australian business hours.
- Able to commute to Kalyani Nagar, Pune office in the morning (We don't provide company Transport)

• Previous experience within an Australian mortgage broking business, with comfort around loan processing, settlements and broker workflows.

• A sound understanding of the loan process from lodgement through to settlement, including lender requirements, conditions and documentation.

• Familiarity with aggregator software and broker CRM systems, with experience using Choice Aggregation highly regarded.

• Comfortable working from templates and documented processes to progress files consistently and accurately.

• Robust organisation and time management, able to run a pipeline of files and competing deadlines without being told twice.

• Sharp attention to detail across documents, conditions and file notes.

• Genuinely proactive and reliable, keeping files moving and surfacing issues before they become problems.

• Demonstrated employment stability, with a preference for candidates who have remained with previous employers for approximately two years or more.

• A genuine interest in establishing a long-term career within our business and growing alongside the team.
