Role Description The Senior Wealth Manager / Chief Manager / AVP will lead client relationship management and advisory for affluent and high-net-worth clients, focusing on holistic wealth planning and portfolio management. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, involving regular in-person meetings with clients and internal stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing client financial goals, designing and executing investment strategies across asset classes, and monitoring portfolios for performance, risk, and alignment with client objectives.
The role will also involve cross-selling relevant products such as mutual funds, PMS, insurance, and structured solutions,
while ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining detailed documentation. The individual will collaborate with research, product, and operations teams to deliver high-quality advice and support business growth through client acquisition, retention, and referrals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning skills, including goal-based planning, retirement planning, tax-efficient strategies, and legacy/estate considerations.
- Candidates should possess robust Investment Management and Investments skills, covering asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk assessment, and performance review across equity, debt, and alternative products.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance skills, including understanding of capital markets, macroeconomic trends, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks.
- Candidates should possess relevant Insurance knowledge, including life, health, and general insurance solutions for comprehensive risk coverage.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, CFP, or equivalent will be advantageous.
- Proven experience in wealth management or financial advisory, preferably handling HNI/ultra-HNI clients, with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to work with data and analytics tools, prepare clear proposals and reports, and adhere to compliance and ethical standards.
- Comfort with in office client engagement in the Kolkata metropolitan area and readiness to participate in business development activities.
