Moh Maaya Media is a creative and performance marketing agency based in Pune. We run brand, content, and paid media for clients across D2C, hospitality, real estate, and services. Maaya Studios is our AI creative production arm, where we build ad creatives and brand films using AI-assisted workflows alongside traditional production. We are a small, quick-moving team. Work ships quickly, gets tested against real ad spend, and gets rebuilt based on what performs.

Role Description

This is a hands-on shooting and editing role, not a desk-only edit role. You will be on the ground capturing content and behind the timeline cutting it.

Roughly half your time goes to founder-led content. You will shadow our founder through the working day, meetings, shoots, client visits, and daily operations, capturing raw footage and turning it into short-form content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The other half goes to client work: performance ad creatives, brand films, social content, product videos, and campaign assets for Moh Maaya Media clients.

Day to day you will shoot handheld and run-and-gun in real conditions, edit vertical short-form content with strong pacing and hooks, cut and iterate on performance ad creatives that get A/B tested and rebuilt, handle sound, captions, colour, and basic motion graphics, repurpose single shoot days into multiple content pieces across formats, and keep media and project files organised and backed up.

You will work directly with the founders and the AI creative team,



so you will see how creative decisions connect to campaign performance rather than working from a brief in isolation.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Pune, six days a week. All equipment is provided, including camera, gimbal, lights, and audio gear.

Qualifications

- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience editing short-form and social-first video content, from agency, studio, creator, or freelance work
- Practical camera operation skills. You can frame, expose, and capture clean audio in unpredictable real-world conditions without supervision
- Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. We do not have a software preference, we care about output speed and quality
- A portfolio or reel of work you personally shot and edited, with links we can watch. Course projects and template-based work will not be considered
- Working knowledge of colour grading, sound design, captioning, and basic motion graphics
- Understanding of what makes short-form content hold attention in the first three seconds
- Comfortable with unstructured days, on-location shoots, and shifting priorities
- Based in Pune or willing to relocate before starting. This role cannot be done remotely
- Exposure to performance marketing creatives or AI video tools is a strong plus, not a requirement
