Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division for a Senior Technical Services Engineer specializing in marine diesel engines. The role involves providing advanced technical services and support for marine diesel engine installations, commissioning, operation, and maintenance. The engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot complex engine and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to customer technical queries, conducting site visits and inspections, preparing detailed service reports,



and coordinating with engineering, sales, and product teams to resolve issues. The role also includes training customers and internal teams on engine performance, best practices, and new technologies, as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Technical Services and Technical Support skills for marine diesel engines and related systems.
- Proficient Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills for diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, cross-functional teams, and preparing clear documentation.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience with marine diesel engines, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with marine industry standards, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
- Ability to work on-site at customer locations, including ports, shipyards, and marine facilities, as required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple service cases simultaneously.
- Comfort with using diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and digital reporting systems.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead technical service role will be an advantage.
