Role Description The Senior Technical Lead will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of internal technology systems that support immigration case management and client services. This full-time, on-site role in Abroad involves leading technical projects, coordinating with consultants and operations teams, and ensuring that software tools, databases, and digital platforms are secure, efficient, and aligned with business needs. The individual will manage a small technical team, provide guidance on system architecture, and implement best practices for documentation, testing, and deployment.

The Senior Technical

Lead will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues,



optimizing workflows, and collaborating with leadership to plan and prioritize technology initiatives that enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in software development and system architecture, with the ability to design and implement scalable, secure solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and databases (e.g., web application frameworks, SQL/NoSQL databases, API integrations).
- Demonstrated capability in technical leadership, including mentoring team members, managing projects, and coordinating cross-functional collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with version control, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines, following industry-standard best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and performance.
- Solid communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and support operational teams.
- Experience in service-oriented or consulting environments; familiarity with immigration or legal services systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
